Your privacy is important to us.
To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used at the Grieving Parents Support Network (GPSN).
Who we are
Welcome to the Grieving Parents Support Network (the “GPSN”), an online support community for bereaved parents.
The GPSN website and service including (without limitation) http://grievingparents.net and http://grievingparents.org (the “Site”) and other all websites, mobile applications and other interactive properties through which the service is delivered (collectively, the “Services”) are owned, operated and distributed by Grieving Parents Support Network, a Switzerland based network and association (referred to in this Privacy Policy as “Grieving Parents Support Network”, “GPSN” or “we” and through similar words such as “us,” “our,” etc.). By accessing any part of the Services, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions described below (this “Privacy Policy”) and the terms and conditions of our terms of service (the “Terms of Service”). If you do not agree to any of these terms, you should not use the Services. This Privacy Policy applies to all users, including both users who are simply viewing content available via the services and users who have registered as a user of the GPSN.
We may, at our sole discretion, modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used. If we make material changes in the way we collect or use information, we will notify you by posting an announcement on the Services or sending you an email, for which you can sign up here. By accessing the Services at any time after such modifications, you are agreeing to be bound by the updated policy.
This Privacy Policy was last modified as of May 25, 2018.
General
Your privacy is very important to us. Accordingly, we have developed this Privacy Policy in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate and disclose and make use of Personal Data (as defined below). The following outlines our Privacy Policy.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the GPSN Site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
