Your privacy is important to us.
To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used at the Grieving Parents Support Network (GPSN).
Who we are
Welcome to the Grieving Parents Support Network (the “GPSN”), an online support community for bereaved parents.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the GPSN Site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Information that you specifically give us
Visitors have the option to sing up for our free updates. We use a plugin to collect your information if you choose to do so.
We collect the following information:
- Basic Details – first and last name
- Contact Details – email address
We do not use your information to share with or sell to others. The sole purpose is to periodically send you information of support.
If you no longer wish your information to be stored, you can find an unsubscribe link in any of our email communication with you.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to save your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. When you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
