Add Yourself to the MWAH Members Global Map
We invite you to add your location to our Google map. The map allows members to find other parents nearby and request or offer peer support and encouragement.
When adding yourself, you have the ability to decide how much detail you want to include, but we do ask you to at a minimum add your city and full name (same as Facebook identity). You may choose to meet up with fellow group members.
We encourage all members to use discretion and maintain personal and privacy safety a priority at all times: meet at a public space, do not give out your home address, etc.
Map Instructions
Don’t worry: this map is not public and only accessible via the direct link. And you decide how much detail you add: perhaps just your city, or the general neighborhood, or a specific street name (no house numbers, please). To add yourself to the map:
- Use the search box to locate your city
- Click “add to map” on the marker that appears
- Edit and replace the name of your location with your own name (your FB username)
- YOU MUST ENTER YOUR NAME: Any unnamed pins will be removed
- Save
Please do not share this map with people outside this group, and do not delete another person’s pin.
